The Captis Birdie is the ideal resort ski. The Captis Birdie is relatively narrow making it very responsive and meaning quick edge-to-edge transition. Lighter and softer than the unisex version, this is a women’s-only savage ski. “The Captis Birdie is a very playful, super fun ski – lightweight with very good balance between the tip and tail, if you are an intermediate skier and want to take your skiing to the next level or play around in the park, this is an excellent choice.” Michell Parker The Black Crows all terrain range is designed to tackle the whole mountain with style and ease. These skis are narrower than our big mountain range and are made principally for on-piste skiing, yet their essential character makes them enjoyable in any snow conditions, from fresh powder to chopped snow, windpack, and crud. This versatility is at the core of our design philosophy. If you are looking for an everyday resort ski that will perform in a wide variety for snow conditions, the all terrain range is where you will find it. The Captis Birdie is a medium width (90mm), rapid and vivacious ski that is ideal for resort skiing. The Captis is for you if you love jumping that border line between slopes and wilderness. Double Rocker Rocker at the tip and tail enable great manoeuvrability and easy turn initiation. Combined with a medium classic camber located underfoot, this creates a moderate contact that is well suited to intermediate skiers wanting a truly versatile platform to tackle multiple terrains. 17m Turn Radius A tight sidecut and 18m turn radius is good for turning easy and quick into carves. With a comfortable and accessible flex this makes for a controllable ski that won’t overpower skiers but that can also be manipulated when your skillset is higher.
