Oakley Oakley MOD1 Pro Ski Helmet

The Oakley MOD1 Pro helmet uses classic skate styling and a low-profile shape. It’s tough and durable and Mips has been integrated for increased safety. The 360o BOA fit system provides easy size adjustment, and the liner and ear pads can be removed allowing a beanie to be worn underneath.

Construction

The Dura-Matter outer uses a tough-wearing ABS hard shell making it well suited for the park, while the liner is made from an EPS energy-absorbing foam.

Ventilation

Passive ventilation channels (non-adjustable) draw air in through the front of the helmet and push hot, stuffy air out the back. Brim ventilation helps goggles to 'breathe' allowing hot air to escape from the top of the frame improving anti-fog performance.

Fit

Oakley’s Skull Matrix integrates a 360o BOA fit system and Mips into a one-piece liner. Sizing can be adjusted by simply twisting the dial at the back.

Additional Safety

Mips has been added for increased safety. This low-friction layer sits between the liner and shell allowing a slight movement between them. In the event of an angled impact or fall, this movement helps to re-direct energy away from the head.
